PerceptiLabs created a tool for data scientists and developers to build machine learning (ML) models quickly through visual interaction. Many ML softwares are either too complex that barriers to entry are high, or too simplistic such that its functions are a 'blackbox' to its users. PerceptiLabs bridges this gap to allow for speed and flexibility in learning to build ML models of unlimited capabilities.

PerceptiLabs development started in 2016, from a garage in Sweden. In 2019, its headquarters moved to San Francisco with a team that spanned across the globe. (A pioneer tech company that embraced remote working from the very beginning.)

Perhaps being ahead of its time, PerceptiLabs has had to stand down its development from May 2022.

Below is a documentation of my work on the UIUX front of PerceptiLabs.
I am honoured to have been their first employee and only designer to have journeyed with them through all our evolving user needs and translating complex ML capacities in a visually understandable manner.

The Design System for PL has been created and documented in Figma; it remains a work in progress has was the tool.

This experience has truly tested my ability to translate complex system implementations into intuitively understandable UI functions.
